Accidental Damage Warranty Terms & Conditions

Term Duration and Limits: Product is covered under an accidental damage warranty for a period of 12 months from the product purchase date. The warranty is limited to accidental damage repair during the entire coverage period up to and including one complete unit replacement, and is covered for manufacturer defects without limit for the same 12 months. If a unit is damaged beyond repair and requires replacement, the warranty will be considered fulfilled after one complete unit replacement.

Coverage: Coverage of accidental damage is defined as unintended, unforeseen physical damage from external forces, including drops, liquid spills, and electrical surges, affecting the Product's operational use.

Service: Product will be repaired (using new or refurbished parts) or replaced with a new or equivalent unit.

Warranty exclusions: This plan does not cover theft or loss of product, intentional damage, fire damage, full liquid submersion, insect infestation, normal wear and tear that does not impact function or damage from unauthorized repair or service.

How to open a claim:

1.      Contact sales@ruggedordie.com with model number, serial number and type of damage requiring repair.

2.      Receive shipping instructions and ship unit along with contact information for responsible party and preferred return shipping address. Shipment of unit from customer to repair facility is the responsibility of the customer. Rugged or Die will cover shipping of repaired unit back to the customer.

Limitation of Liability:

Our maximum liability under this Plan is limited to the repair or replacement of the Product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of data or loss of profit. The total liability for the entire coverage period will not exceed the original purchase price of the Product.
