The Gamber Johnson 7160-0033 Universal Seat Mounted Base installs with straps to the passenger seat of any vehicle. Once installed, the 7160-0033 can mount a motion attachment and then laptop dock or cradle. While universal and easy to install, the 7160-0033 is not as stable and secure as a bolted console or pedestal computer mount. Another item to take into consideration is that the 7160-0033 vehicle base would take up the passenger seat in the vehicle and so should be considered as a last resort
