Adaptable to many different computer sizes, the Gamber Johnson 7160-1870-00 is built with versatility in mind. The NotePad VI Universal Computer Cradle is a cradle that can evolve to complete most any computer mounting solution. The 7160-1870-00 features extending clips that allow for adjustable depth and height while the cradle itself can extend to adapt to different laptop widths. Please note the specifications tab for the minimum and maximum adjustment dimensions of the 7160-1870-00. If your computer is too tall, the Universal Tall Computer Cradle (part number 7160-1870-01) might be a better solution. This Gamber Johnson computer cradle doesn't have any port replication or power pass through.  The cradle features a locking latch which provides theft deterrence for your in-vehicle computer. Most laptops such as Panasonic TOUGHBOOKs, Getac rugged computers and even most Dell rugged computers have purpose built docks and cradles without the need for an adjustable holder.
