While not mission critical, a support brace is highly suggested for a passenger side pedestal computer mount. Typically attaching to the transmission hump or under the dash, a support brace greatly decreases vibration and sway in the pedestal mount. With vibration reduced, a pedestal mount provides a more secure computer mounting solution and benefits both the user experience as well as decreases wear and tear on the mounted computer or tablet.

The 7160-2198 support brace bracket is compatible with the Pole Brace (7160-0231) and helps secure the brace under the dash of the vehicle. The 7160-2198 is intended for Gamber Johnson passenger pedestal mounts for the Chevy Blazer EV.
