Installing easily on the left side of the Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 40, the FZ-V2S400T2M is user installable and requires no special drivers or software to function. Providing a secondary storage drive, the FZ-V2S400T2M adds an additional 512GB of memory and improves the FZ-40 rugged laptop by allowing the main SSD to remain uncluttered. The FZ-V2S400T2M can be secured by locking the xPAK in place and has an additional security screw insert for added theft deterrence. This NVMe SSD is OPAL encrypted with security keys stored directly on the drive and never leaving it, thereby enabling fast and secure data storage. The FZ-V2S400T2M is only compatible with the Mk2 FZ-40 rugged laptop, if a 512GB OPAL 2nd SSD is needed for a Mk1 FZ-40 please consider alternative part number FZ-V2S400T1M
