Standard Battery for FZ-40 Mk1, Mk2. Can be used as a replacement for the main battery or as an optional 2nd battery in the Right Expansion Area.

The Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 40 comes by default with one FZ-VZSU1XU battery. With 10.8, 6500mAH the FZ-VZSU1XU can provide the FZ-40 with up to 12 hours of battery life under ideal conditions (dependent on screen brightness and programs being used.) One of the useful features of the FZ-40 is the ability to deploy a second FZ-VZSU1XU battery in the xPAK right expansion slot. With two batteries engaged in the TOUGHBOOK, the FZ-40 can operate for up to 24 hours as well as enabling hot swap (the ability to cycle in a charged battery without power off the unit.)
