Insertable Smart Card xPAK for FZ-40 Mk1, Mk2 Right Expansion Area

Installing on the right side expansion slot of a Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 40, the FZ-VSC401U xPAK provides smart card reading capabilities to the FZ-40. Two different smart card readers are available for the FZ-40, one is insertable and requires the smart card to be physically inserted to be read, and the other is contactless and requires the smart card to be simply swiped across the reader. The FZ-VSC401U xPAK is insertable and reads the smart card once it has been inserted. The FZ-VSC401U can be easily installed in the FZ-40 by the user with no special drivers or software needed.
