The Getac V110 convertible laptop fills a niche use case scenario where a computer is needed to have the mobility of a tablet but the utility of a laptop. Featuring certifications for both MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G, the V110 has an ingress protection level of IP65 (see the detailed Rugged or Die blog about Ingress Protection here) With an operating temperature of -20 degrees to 145 degrees Fahrenheit and a robust drop and vibration rating, the convertible V110 also comes by default as an ANSI C1D2 (Class 1 Division 2) certified computer. Getac V110 Special Features
One of the most notable features of the rugged V110 is the swivel screen. The 11.6 inch sunlight viewable display can be easily rotated 180 degrees on a robust and rugged hinge mechanism. Once rotated, the computer display can open and close both facing the user (over the keyboard) and away, allowing it to fully close with the screen up or down. While the screen is situated in an upward orientation, the V110 functions as a tablet while downwards it performs as a full laptop. Maintaining the mobility of a tablet while simultaneously performing as a full laptop is one of the greatest strengths of the V110. Designed for highly mobile job codes that need a computer in rugged environments, the V110 has purpose built configurations for the EMS industry featuring high visibility hazard color schemes.
