Getac ZX80 Rugged Tablet Overview
The Getac ZX80 is an Android based ultra rugged tablet designed to to operate in challenging environments. With a smaller screen size measuring only 8 inches across, the ZX80 is built to be mobile than larger and heavier rugged tablets while still retaining more processing power than a smaller handheld. With ultra rugged durability, the ZX80 can survive and function in the field or is perfect for warehouse management.
ZX80 Rugged Durability Ratings
The ZX80 is designed by Getac to survive the harshest of treatments. Featuring an ingress protection level of IP67, the ZX80 can be fully submerged up to one meter in water for up to 30 minutes. Splashes, drips and spills are easily cleaned off the ZX80 with no issue. With a 1000 nit sunlight viewable display, the rugged tablet can also be dropped up to 6 feet without damage or disruption to operation. Perfect for everything from UAV control in desert or hot environments, the ZX80 can function in temperatures up to 145 degrees. With an internal heat management system, the rugged android tablet can also be brought in frigid environments down to negative 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Getac ZX80 Optional Features
The ZX80 has optional 1D and 2D Barcode which adds to functionality for warehouse or product management. An additional optional hardware upgrade to the ZX80 is an NFC scanner allowing the tablet to have contactless scanning of enabled cards and equipment. Optional 4G LTE, dedicated GPS and 5G Sub-6 allows the ZX80 to be used out in the field and still connect to wireless signals for maximum operational uptime. The tablet can be optionally certified for hazardous locations under the ANSI Class 1 Division 2 rating making it able to be used hazardous zones C1D2 or below.
